Darling vintage circa 1930s era 10k white gold bow brooch! This lovely little pin is 10k white gold and has a round filigree wreath shape. There is a figural looped ribbon bow accenting the piece, and the piece secures with a rotating c-clasp. A pretty Art Deco era fashion accessory!

MARKINGS HISTORY – Brooch is marked 10k Belais . In 1917, David Belais of Belais Brothers acquired a patent for white gold. The Belais alloy was extremely popular; During the 1920s, white gold was sometimes referred to as “Belais metal.” Belais jewelry is highly collectible & sought after, because their company is considered to be the first to use white gold in the U.S. Their pieces are like owning a piece of jewelry history!

CONDITION – Good vintage condition. White gold metal has been professionally polished & cleaned. Age appropriate patina & wear remains. Amazing vintage bow brooch!
